Johnny: “If we don’t get a traitor at the roundtable tonight…”
Mark: “We’re fucked. It’s over. If we don’t land tonight, we’re fucked.”

Are the faithfuls fucked? It sure feels like it. We’ve reached a point in The Traitors season four where the endgame is all but assured: Barring some world-class fumble, Rob Rausch is taking the prize home, and Eric Nam will share the prize if Rob deems him fit. After the public murder that kicks off next week’s finale, there will only be five players left in the game—with Rob, Eric, and Maura most likely working together, banishing the remaining two (one at the roundtable, one at final four fire) should be easy work.

There are still a few different possible outcomes in the cards depending on timing. Maybe Rob and Eric will murder Tara tonight, maybe Johnny, maybe Mark, maybe even Maura. Maybe Eric’s sketchy behavior will lead the faithfuls to settle on him for the finale banishment, and Rob will do what he always does: let it happen. In broad strokes, though, there isn’t much mystery about where this is all going next week. I don’t really think the edit is telegraphing a Johnny-Tara win, even if their dynamic is one of the best-developed on the season right now.
