Review: Taskmaster, “A creepy bit of advice.” | Series 21, Episode 3
It starts off with someone struggling with a wink and ends with someone struggling with a wank
It’s episode 3 of series 21 of Taskmaster, and we’re back in the studio with Amy Gledhill, who struggles to wink; Armando Iannucci, who’s off for some ice cream; Joanna Page, who continues to over-explain her prize tasks; Joel Dommett, who struggles to wank; and Kumail Nanjiani, who has truly the most beautiful wink I have ever seen.
Overall this is a strong episode from start to finish, and I’m loving this cohort of contestants. Page and Dommett are basically sentient serotonin, and god knows we could all use some of that right now. Dommett was so delighted with himself for his quip about winking and wanking, and was even more delighted when Taskmaster Greg Davies stole his line to wrap up the show. And everybody’s taking the tasks seriously (or at least seriously enough).
