Review: Mythic Quest, “Crushing” | Season 3, Episode 3
The show’s characters just want to have a good time (if they know how)
If the first two episodes of this season of Mythic Quest were intricately threaded examinations of where recent events have landed its characters, the third is a refreshing collection of disparate but funny misadventures. If there’s a throughline, it’s David and Poppy’s continuing and doomed quest for Ian’s attention, but “Crushing” is mostly interested in having a good time, and at that, it succeeds.
