Programming Note: Going Live in the Substack App at 2pm ET

Hey everyone—so Substack is really trying to get you using their app and pushing more emphasis on content creation within the platform, and live video is their latest effort. And while I remain skeptical that everyone wants their content to come in the form of closed systems, I do think live video is a great way to continue the conversations that really define Episodic Medium for me, along with a great chance to highlight out great stable of contributors.

Accordingly, with the program launching this week, I’m going live at 2pm this afternoon (Friday September 20) with contributor Ben Rosenstock to discuss a topic that came up in my review of this week’s Survivor, which is how our experience shifts when people we know—or media figures we think we know, like podcaster Jon Lovett—are contestants on the show. Joining us live will let you ask questions and offers comments, but the video will also be archived and made available to subscribers.
